Given our hideaway location, a car is a must. We have 5 off road parking spaces available for our guests.
We're just 1hr 20 mins from Geneva airport, 1hr 45 mins from Chambéry, and 2hr 30 mins from Lyon airport.
The drive from Calais is around 8hrs 30 mins, there are great overnight stops in and around Reims and Troyes if you wish to break up your journey.
We would be happy to recommend car hire companies and help you to get the best deal with a 5% discount on headline prices.
Is super easy, with lots of choice! Head up the hill to the secret ski resort at Mont Chéry (mainly red & black runs); head 10 mins down into Morzine and park in the super-convenient underground Pleney car park, head 15 mins to Montriond to the Lindarets car park for access straight to Chatel, Switzerland and Avoriaz; 12 mins to Les Gets (3 car parks to choose from) or 10 mins down to Saint-Jean to Roc d'enfer.
All that on one lift pass!!!
Morzine's central location in the Portes du Soleil means that nothing is far away.
Whether you want to tackle the berms in Les Gets (10 mins away), take the family white water rafting (30 mins away) or simply walk, everything is close at hand
A peaceful hamlet boasting incredible views, nestled above Morzine, La Cote is a super-friendly neighbourhood, which just happens to have a small ski resort at the top, linking you directly to Les Gets, but without the crowds. It is a walkers' paradise, with incredible trails starting directly from the Chalet to the peaks, waterfalls and rivers nearby.
There is an added bonus of fantastic restaurant in the village, L'Rateli, which is five minutes from the chalet.
Let's just say we fell hopelessly in love the moment we set foot up here....

Morzine/Avoriaz is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
In winter, there are 650km of groomed runs – the largest linked ski area in the world – taking in 12 traditional towns and villages across both France and Switzerland, all on one lift pass!
The unique selling point of the Portes du Soleil is the on-snow experience. Pistes of every orientation from high altitude powder bowls to beautiful winding tree-lined runs down into the villages; not to mention the limitless off-piste.
There’s something for every ability from those learning for the very first time, through to the seasoned skier looking for the ultimate challenge. No two days are the same here, in fact, no two weeks are! Summer activity choices are almost endless too - see some of our favourites below.
Not just a winter ski resort (although it is home to some of the best pistes in the PdS) Les Gets is also home to the biggest bike park in Europe. The town has everything - picnic spots, lakes, 18 hole golf course, paragliding, even inflatables on the lake to keep the kids entertained.
We couldn't love this place more.
So much to do, so little time. Here are a few of our favourites:
